“They” want $37 mil.
Sunday, January 25 2009
Quackery merchant Kevin Trudeau, of “Natural Cures ‘They’ Don’t Want You To Know About”, has been hit with a $37 million judgment from the Federal government for making “false and misleading claims“.
It’s about time someone shut him down, but I can’t help but wonder why not sooner. The judgment represents “the amount consumers paid in response to the deceptive infomercials”; couldn’t the FTC cut him off before it got to be so much?
And of course, for a certain sort of nutjob, this will be only be further proof that “They” Don’t Want You To Know About whatever Trudeau is selling.

Sad to say, that for all the damage he has done (they don’t want you to know about that!) 37 million will not really slow Kevin down.
They supposedly ordered him off the air, but, he has the resources to move around that one. Sigh. Kevin is a mess, and he is fine getting quiet while working on another scam he has not tried yet.
After faith healer Peter Popoff was exposed on national television for his fraud, he went bankrupt. In the past year, it became clear he is at his old tricks… Can’t keep a con artist down
